I was also worried one day when I looked at the National Average, but then I realized it's an average between all the Service centers processing the petition, so in this case, according to their website, Nebraska Service Center adds its own average which as stated is 44.6 months (I know, right!! Do they even process i-129f's there?), so it weights in and increases the National average drastically and scarily :) What you need to go by is your own Service center average (which you can't really trust either, but anyways). So I really hope no one is really stuck in Nebraska service center

Good luck!

**Removal of conditions**

10/01/2014 Package sent to California Service Center

10/03/2014 NOA1

10/10/2014 Received Biometrics Appointment Letter, Biometrics scheduled for 10/30/14

10/22/2014 Early Biometrics Walk-in - Cleveland, OH - weird experience with the clerk there - told me I can go ahead and get my biometrics taken early, but it might be too early and it might not go through??? If it might be a problem, then why let me do it at all?

02/10/2015 New Biometrics letter received, Biometrics scheduled for 03/09/15- I guess that clerk was right??

03/09/2015 Second biometrics

..waiting..

5/15/2015 Put in a service request online - outside of processing time

5/18/2015 Approved!

5/23/2015 Card in hand

Mine's 1 more month to go! I'm hoping they process my case soon and send me RFE (forgot name change documents for my fiance and me) :( called the USCIS today and talked about that name change documents.. she thought my name on the file was incorrect she sounded pissed. I told her that i forgot to include my name change documents.. and she's like "okay, they'll contact you so you don't have to worry about it" I asked how long is it gonna take until they contact me (tried to act stupid) she's basically checking my case status... and read the message off that "initial review" and said.. you case is still w/in normal timeline... it's going to take 5 months.. blah blah blah.. that lady isn't happy working there... I could tell from her voice! lol

Slowly buy surely it appears CSC is kicking back into gear. 140 days for me, and considering the complexity of mine that is not too bad. I hope I wasn't holding any of your applications up :D Viva June Filers!

Hi everyone. Glad to see this group here and to know Andy and I aren't the only ones waiting impatiently. Our NOA1 date is June 14 so we're about two weeks away from the five month mark. I take deadlines seriously so I will be calling and filing service requests that day if we don't receive a NOA2 letter by then. Let's just say the person who gets my call is going to have an awful day. :)

Just some (LONG, sorry) background: Andy and I met in September 2009 in London through friends while I was backpacking through Europe. I knew he was trouble the moment I saw his eyes. We met again in Barcelona in October. We talked non-stop through November and December before he visited in Nevada in January 2010. After other tourist visa woes and failings, I visited him again in August 2010 and in April 2011. We got engaged on the morning of April 8, the day before I flew back, on top of a hill overlooking a park. April 9 was the last time I saw him in person.

It took me about two months to put the I-129F together, which I sent June 3. Because of the previous tourist visa issues, I wanted to get everything right the first time.

I moved to New York from Nevada and started graduate school in August. That's where I am now. I filed for a change of address a month ago.

We have a lot more hurdles in front of us. I'm living off student loans and I doubt my family and all my broke friends would be willing to co-sponsor us. Andy's doing his best to save but because the Affidavit of Support relies on my income, I'm not sure if they'll take his savings into account. The Beatles lied to me. Apparently you can buy love.

It's especially difficult because other students in my course also plan to get married within the next year. They talk about dresses, engagement photos, cakes and wedding invitations. I talk about NOA1s, NOA2s and the California Service Center. They don't understand my lingo.

I don't even care about the wedding. I want a modest, tea-length dress, a few friends and family. If we can afford it, we want to marry at the Top of 30 Rock. We'll take the subway there from our apartment in Brooklyn. I just want to be with him.

Also, I wanted to throw this out there. I'm a student and was thinking of documenting the visa process. Young people waiting for their visas to be approved, taken from my side and from his. Almost in the vein of this video: http://mediastorm.com/publication/love-in-the-first-person Disclaimer: the video is a tearjerker. Tell me what you think.

Sorry this was so long. I'm just glad I have a place to vent about "wedding" planning. Good luck, courage and love to everyone. I will update as soon as I hear anything.

We are now waiting for about 4 months. When Vermont started approving June I was very hopeful any day I will get that email. They started approving June back at the end of August and here we are end of October and still nothing. very disappointing, and what is worrying me even more is the slowdown in approvals based on Igor's list we went from an average of 40 approvals per week to just about 10. Interestingly enough I do not see a proportional increase in approvals from CSC center to compensate the decrease in VSC approvals. And yet again interestingly enough based on the Sta Page on Igors list I see a similar trend last year starting in October with fewer approvals per week that started in October and continued till mid June. If this is repeated and they do not pick up on their regular track we may be in for a very long ride which is not just disappointing but very unfair. I was reading some posts on VJ talking about expedite service requests after one hits the 5 months mark, what exactly is that, does it even do anything and how does one apply for that? I hope we all get our approvals soon especially the June and prior to June requests, since it really isn't fair to see july approvals and latter ones getting approved before, we waited long enough and the fact that they say that they process applications in order they are received seems to not be true.

Good luck all and if anyone knows more about the expedite service requests let me know...
