I am a US Citizen. I married a man in Jamaica. He had his interview on May 13th in Kingston. He was given back our marriage license and our birth certificates and that was it. He was told by the consulate that our paperwork was being sent back to USCIS for them to contact me to see if I wished to continue. USCIS contacted me and informed me that they had recieved the paperwork on the 29th of June. They also informed me that this process could take up to 120 days. Has anyone gone through this and if so what was the outcome?

Starting a new topic isn't going to get better answers - You need to find out why they returned your petition - either the embassy did not believe your marriage is valid or there is something your husband did not tell you - You need to read the similar topics on this, get your senator involved, find out what the reason was -

Sus I agree with you on that one. I think one or two things did happen. Either they thought the marriage was fake bcuz of the HUGE age difference or the husband said something for them to implied that the marriage is fake. It is unfortunate that the CO's hold our future in their hands but it is their job to weed out valid and invalid marriages the sad thing about it is, sometimes they get it totally wrong.
