that don't seem normal,did you send a G-1145 e.notification form along with your n-400,look at the vj forums us citizenship general discussions april filers,some of them had there ceramony already,mybe call the 1-800 -375-5283 see if you can get answers,good luck

Hello,

My name is Alice, I am currently married and I filed my n400 application as 5 yrs based because I have been LPR for 6 yrs . My application was sent in April 24th and haven't received the interview letter.

did you send a personal check? if yes, did it clear?

N-400 Naturalization Timeline

06/28/11 .. Mailed N-400 package via Priority mail with delivery confirmation

06/30/11 .. Package Delivered to Dallas Lockbox

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

Step 1 (about 3-5 days): your check clears.

Step 2 (about 7 to 9 days): you receive the NOA1

Step 3 (about 3 to 4 weeks): you receive the biometrics letter

Step 4: you receive the interview letter

Did you successfully accomplish steps 1 - 3?

If not, what did you receive so far?

I am sorry I did not explain myself very well. I did my fingerprint and all other requirements. I am just wondering if applying for 5yrs based and married have any effects? or its normal?

Considering that Feb filers are interviewing now, I don't think you're outside the acceptable window. I filed Feb 22 and I jave an interview on July 13th, so that gives you an idea.

Have you checked out the thread for April filers to see how it's going for otehr April folks?

Even if you are happily married for 50 years, the day you have your Green Card for 5 years you file based on the 5 years, not on marriage anymore, so you did exactly the right thing. You should receive your interview letter very soon.
