Does anyone here work in Sclumberger corporation in texas, if yes do you know if they apply for green card on behalf of employee. I possibly will be getting an offer from them, but as of now they have been telling no green card sponsorship, Is it a not openly stated fact? . Any information in this regards will be helpful

It might be up to the company to when and how they decide to do that. I know there is only a certain amount of visas granted each period, and the company may have to bid for a grant before they open a visa request for a member. Either of both of those issues may apply in your case.

If they are telling u upfront they are not filing for GC then thats their HR policy.

It cost company to file for GC and lately lot of companies have changed their policy for GC to cut cost. So someone in past could have been sponsored but you might not and you might have to eat the cost of GC they might just help you with supporting paperwork.
