Looks like no one's started a Wednesday thread yet (besides Rahma's Wednesday thread yesterday that is :P )

Nothing too exciting going on here. I'll be staying late at work again to get some studying done for my actuarial exam at the end of October. Time is running out already!

Wishing you all a great Wednesday!

:D

Yay for Wednesdays! I woke up thinking it was Thursday. I didn't want to get out of bed and it was so dark out this morning that I thought my alarm was malfunctioning. But here I am at work, again.

I applied to go to the Philadelphia Community College yesterday. They offer an Arabic course that I am hoping to take in the spring. But I am not sure if they'll offer Arabic 101 as a spring course since 101's are usually fall courses. So I am going to have to find two other courses to take. Maybe college algebra and something else. Anyone got any ideas for someone who doesn't have a major picked out?

Anyway, supposed to rain today and tomorrow. I think I am just going to do some more cleaning at home. Last night I cleaned out the fridge and the cabinets. I think tonight I will focus on the bedroom and closets.

Well I gotta get to work. Hope everyone has a good day.

This is what I hear. That's total BS! :ranting:

So sorry you have to wait. The interim was one of our saving graces.

What's that mean? They can't get a temp work auth anymore? How long will it take before he's allowed to work then?

I think it means that he has to wait til their EAD is approved or until they recieve their GC.

I hope you get what you're expecting!

In other news, Keith Ellison won a hotly contested primary for the DFL (minnesota democrats) spot in the 5th congressional district race. Since the district is a democratic stronghold, he'll most likely win the November election and be the muslim sent t congress  And, he goes to my masjid :luv:
