I saw lots of activity on that website for Friday. They issued about 30 approvals dated July 25-July 26. Ironically the case directly after ours is approved and all the 10 cases after us but a few. I am very worried now. :(

That could just be because of a difference in who pulled those cases/whose desk they ended up on.

What I mean is, why are they allowed to not do our petitions roughly in chronological order? Dealing with a large group later rather than sooner does nothing to lessen the total number of petitions.

29February2012 - AOS Fee shows paid, AOS Package sent in

5March2012 - IV Fee shows paid (paid on 3March), IV (DS-230) Package sent in

6March2012 - AOS Rejected due to minor error, corrected version emailed in

8March2012 - Email received indicating AOS correction and DS-230 review in process

9March2012 - Case Complete Email - END NVC PROCESS

Hello Funfetti,

There is always a distribution of dates that they process. If they are working on July 22nd applications, the distribution of dates might be peaked for this date, but there will be applications on either side of this date that will still be processed. Therefore, if there are 80 applications with July 22nd NOA1 dates, then there might be 40 applications with July 15 being processed. So don't be worried about the date of processing because there will be many more on either side of the date that will still be processed. The farther away you are from the date, the fewer the applications will be that are being processed. As I mentioned before, I would start worrying if you do not hear anything for another 3 weeks.

i know everyone is anxious. they are done with june 16. my priority date was july 1st. i already have an interview date. i had my notice after xmas so be patient i was anxious just like you guys... just be patient...

We signed that too. They can't ask anything about your case without your written authorization.
