Pift and sigh....

Both my hubby and I got divorced in 1998..and I have searched high and low and cannot find our decree's. :-(

When we got married in 1999 in Florida, we showed them..after all can't get married in Florida if previously married and don't show the degree's.

I am iritated where they are.

I sent the I-130 in as I was expecting that when i came back to the UK i would find them and could just post them off. It would be nice of course if USCIS can see from our marriage certificate that we got married in Florida and therefore by law, we had to show them..and when we did immigration in 1999 we sent them in...but I guess we will get a RFE!

Off to the courts I guess to get duplicates...

Do you reckon once I receive them, if i send a copy to USCIS with our receipt number..that they can tie up the information..or is it just best to wait for the RFE?

July 2010 - Hubby and our children moved back to USA (for work etc)

Nov 2010 - Visited for 3 weeks (it hurts like mad to be away from them)

June 2011 - visited for 4 weeks

26th June 2011 -I-130 Express Mail to Chicago

28th June 2011- I-130 Chicago signed for package

12th July - Returned to UK..

29th June 2011 - USCIS informed me Noa1 mailed on 29th June

2nd July 2011 - Touched

8th August 2011 - Expedite approved

12th August 2011 - Touched

12th August 2011 - The dreaded RFE!

9th September 2011 - RFE received by CSC - being reviewed!

13th September 2011 - USCIS approved

19th September 2011 - NVC received file.

4th October 2011 - NVC # assigned, emailed dob amendment email (amended now), emailed DS-3032, Logged into payment portal (not invoiced), booked medical - 20th October

5th October 2011 - Emailed expedite

6th October 2011 - 2 emails from NVC (expedite and ds-3032 responses)

- SIF at payment portal.

7th October 2011 - expedite approved

12th October 2011 - case left NVC (nice birthday present!)

13th October 2001 - case arrived in UK

20th October 2011 - Medical - passed

24th October 2011 - DS-230 & DS-2001 received by Embassy

3rd November 2011 - interview - approved

4th November 2011 - text message from courier, saying they are delivering on Monday

7th November 2011 - Visa received

10th November 2011 - POE - LA

Goodness, so there is a July filers thread! I'd made my own after I couldn't find a main one.

Got my NOA1 on the 21st and signed up on USCIS website to check my status. Got my receipt number but it can't be found online yet. Will it really take 7-10 days for CSC to get my case and make it available to check out? :unsure:

It usually doesn't take that long. You should be able to check your case in a few days :thumbs:

My case is still not showing up on USCIS when I'm signed into my account. Is it normal for it to take so long even after getting NOA1 hard copy?? Was looking around online and some people were saying it took 10 days, a month and more (if it didn't show up right away).

Hey there, filed in July, delivered 8th, check cashed 15th still no text or receipt, beginning to worry now, is there anything I can do chase this matter up? i tried to call USCIS but without the receipt number (i am waiting for) it is pointless,

any advice here would be greatly appreciated

on July 29, 2011, I am waiting for the NOA

My husband is in California and we're outside the U.S.
