lack of evidence was the reason they gave us. so next time we sent in a package that was 3 inch high and pretty heavy too ;) i hope that is enough evidence this time!

USCIS denied for lack of evidence? That seems weird. What did you send in the first time?

I know what you mean about sending in a lot. Mine was 220+ pages. :)

Trips:

Jan2010 - First Trip, met in person

Jul2010 - Trip two!

Nov2010 - Trip Three, Got engaged :)

Feb2011 - Trip Four. Spring Festival, Lucky Money all around :D

April2011 - Trip Five... Going to the chapel...

July2011 - Trip Six... Honeymoon in Xiamen :D

October2011 - Trip Seven... Beijing and the Great Wall :)

January2012 - Trip Eight... Chinese New Years and Spring Festival! More Lucky Money! :D

April2012 - Trip Nine... Interview?

Paper work for CR1:

28 July 2011 - 20January 2012 - Day 175... USCIS at CSC finally processed our paper work.

30January2012 - NVC 'received' the paperwork

6February2012 - NVC GUZ case number assigned - Attempted to OPTIN to EP.

7February2012 - NVC GZO (EP) case number assigned

8February2012 - 27February Massive delay caused by sending the EP OPTIN email too soon :(

When dealing with the Consulate in Guangzhou China, one does not show up with too small a "gun" as it were.

It was:

Chat logs

Emails

Plane tickets

Pictures

A two page "matter of fact" evolution of relationship letter

A 22 Page "Story of Us" document with pictures and such interspersed with text

Notarized letters of support

As much evidence of "financial intermingling" as possible given the restrictions of the so-called Patriot Act

Evidence of our apartment together in Tangxia

Table of contents

Other things I've probably forgotten at the moment...

We're not dealing with a powder puff Consulate like London or Ottawa. We're dealing with one of the nastiest most prone to deny ones in the world. No one will ever be able to say they didn't have all the evidence that was available to them and we'll likely send in more at the NVC stage since we're able to (not all can do so). :)

hello

this afternoon my husband talk to an agent of the USCIS to expedite our cases, because my husband lost his job.

the agent said that is a reason to expedite our cases.

but the officer began to ask many questions...

why you want to bring your wife and daughter in the U.S.?

why you lost your job?

When you lost your job?

how many children do you have?

you have custody of your child?

was like a little interview, and told the agent that he would send a paper between 5 and 8 days for a formal interview, I hope we approved very fast!

Newest July stats posted here:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/343684-paisamans-i-130-csc-statistics/

They are processing a few apps across a bunch of days in July but still just a few until they finish June my guess.

Biggest winner was July 11th with 406 apps processed (2621 remaining out of 3504)
