Hello everyone,

I filled my CR-1 I-130 in mid-July; and I've been checking my USCIS online status update, but it still says 14-July my NOA1; it has not been updating it since! What's going on? Does anyone have this problem?

reg.ula.tion.me.ooow.2011 // tomcat.fight

to do list:
file i-130, petition for alien relative
get immigrant visa
get ssn card and green card
get employment authorization - not required
file I-751, petition to remove the conditions of residence (before 2nd year expires upon entry)
become a US citizen

Thank you Visajourney!

Go there: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis

In the "case status" box to the left, enter the receipt # you got with your NOA1.

Once you are there, look on the left, you will see "sign in to my account". Cick there,

and once you are on the page click "Want to register?"(bottom middle of the page) and

create an account. They will ask you your receipt number, but once your account is created

you can login there everyday and look for your updates everyday (the date will change if

they do something on your file).

Just to provide some info to everyone. Filed early July and got hard copy about a few days later. The latest change to my account was that it was "touched" on August 31. But that'a about it. I'm expecting this board to start getting busy as they hit July. I've been seeing late June filers getting their I130s approved. :)

Any early July filers out there getting approved yet?

And one other thing, I noticed that my expected time of approval changed. I thought it said mid-October. And now it says last week October. Did this happen to anyone else?

Yes, ours has been creeping back day by day also, as CSC seems to have slowed down.

Awww, darn. I was secretly hoping it was an error. But that's pretty cool that the tracker can adjust like that. Better to get a realistic date then hit the false time and be anxious for an entire week for nothing!

I think that there have been a few July approvals already. You can see them if you check Igor's List. Although, I am not one of them unfortunately. I see many August approvals though. Why do you think that so many August filers are getting approved? I have not had a touch since 08/04/11 I notice many people with NOA1 around mine ave also been touched on 08/04/11. I guess they updated us all that day for some reason. I have not been touched since then though so I guess I am sitting somewhere in a bin collecting dust. If I see any of my friends get approved with July NOA1 I will tell them to post here. You all do the same please. I am trying my hardest to keep track of things. I have started a thread exclusively for CSC as they seem to be slower than VSC. Good luck and my prayers are with all of you.

P.S.: Would any of you like to create a google document with our timelines for late June-August so we can compare timelines? If so, then inbox me please so that we can work on it ASAP! :-)

Just wanted to add my voice to the choir here. We're the same: NOA1 on July 22, touched August 4, and nothing since. Boo.

There are still a lot of June USCIS filers who have not received their approvals yet. As far as i know only early June filers (ie. June 3, 2011) got their NOA-2. I think us July filers would take another month of waiting. Bad!

Half the people on Igor's list are not active users and never update their timeline. I want to create a google document!
