I have my check for 590.00 made out to US Dept of Homeland Security.

I have my package of all my stuff organized and paperclipped.

We are in Virginia so, I'm sending it to Vermont.

And this is what I said in my cover letter:

• Picture of PAV and Lechatnoir on honeymoon cruise in 2010;

• Picture of PAV and Lechatnoir at a restaurant celebrating valentine's day 2011;

Hi guys,

I am preparing my package to send out... we did our first green card with a lawyer so I'm kinda nervous preparing all these documents myself! Please help me make sure I'm doing this right.

1. I can't find anything on the form that says how much it is? Are there two checks to send again? One for the fee and one for biometrics?

You must not have a copy of the instructions as it is very clear and easy to find. I suggest you Google "I-751 instructions" and download and print them. They also list what is required as evidence which would answer some of your other questions.

No I didn't, but someone posted them for me on page 1. I was only looking at the forms and stuff on VJ and the instructions aren't on here...at least that I could find. But I figured it all out.

I strongly suggest you read the actual instructions and not just rely on what you have read here on VJ.

I read in someone else's post about the RFE he got saying they didn't have enough evidence and didn't include things like W-2's... was I supposed to send my W-2's as well? Also I think his RFE said something about not showing stuff from a full 2 years... I didn't realize the things I needed to send had to in writing show a history from 2009 to now? Like when I sent our bank account statement I only sent in current month and not like 2 years worth of them and current credit card statements etc... will I get an RFE because the actual dates on the things I sent didn't cover 2 years?

How exactly does a copy of your Green Card verify the status of your marriage and ongoing relationship?

Don't copy errors. Read the guides, notice errors that have not been corrected in ages, and take 'em out.

Your tax transcripts from 2010 & 2009 will suffice.

Send 1 to 3 items from each quarter that you've been married. That's what we did. Show a melding of your personal and financial lives from marriage/AOS onward.

1-3 things from each quarter? Great.... I smell an RFE coming. But not a problem I guess just getting more statements. I just sent the most recent statements of everything.

And LOL @ Just Bob ... perhaps you are correct but I don't think I'm going to get denied because I sent a copy of his green card.

Your tax transcripts will carry a LOT of weight, so you may not get an RFE after all. Keep us posted, however.
