Well sure I can, I just did!!! Kill or let live...hmmm. Sometimes I think you argue just to argue. So why is it all about the woman with you, do you not give the unborn baby any moral value?

Yes you did, but it's nonsensical, that's why you can't do it. But since you want to perform nonsense, clearly you do.

Only women can get pregnant Simpson. This is something we all learn very early in life.

You made the legs closed comment, not me. It's sexist, i don't expect you to recognise that. You want women to be forced by law to submit to life changing biological and psychological changes against their will. Again, sexist.

Let me make this easy for you. The woman makes the final decision. So if your going to spread your legs and then throw your mistake away then I would say please keep you dam legs closed you selfish woman you. Call it what you want but it my neck of the woods we call it common sense.

Well that post clearly confirms that your opinions on the subject are rooted in sexism.

When men can get pregnant, you get back to me.

The more you post, the more it becomes obvious that your opinion has more to do with people's sexual habits than it does about abortion per se.

Simply not true and you repeating it doesn't magically make it true. ;)

I think it's sad that the man ultimately has no say. There's no right answer though, because it's not his body...but at the end of the day, if he wants the child, and she doesn't, he gets to sit back and watch.

Which should suggest that the man has equal if not more culpability, because if he doesn't want to be in that powerless position, then he needs to take appropriate steps beforehand.

EVERYONE should behave responsibly, THAT'S also a given. Using appropriate birth control is part of that, but a pregnancy can happen regardless.

Oh come on Duncan you know as well as I do that most pregnancies are a result of people acting irresponsible. 99.9% chance a condom will work. Cute that want to use the exception to the rule...weak.

Of course everyone should, I have bitched about the men too and you know this so I'm guessing that response was not for me but for the rest of VJers. Show off

I'm not talking about statistics, nor am I pulling them out of my backside as you are. I'm saying simply, that it could happen. Personal judgements about irresponsible behaviour are of little worth when it comes to this issue, since to do so means that you are tarring everyone with the same brush.

The issue is one of choice - choice for the woman to adopt (with or without the man's consent) or the choice to abort (with or without the man's consent). Whatever individual decisions are made - the key factor surely is that people have all the information they need to make informed decisions. That's it. Anything else is trying to legislate against stupidity - it's futile.

Statistics do matter. You want to make a argument based on the exception. Weak.

Once again its all about the woman with you. What about the unborn baby and its moral value?

Simpson, you didn't provide any statistics - you pulled random numbers out of the air.

An unborn has no "moral value". It has to be the woman's choice whether she wants to undergo (or is capable of undergoing) a pregnancy.
