I just received the notice from USCIS request for additional information about our relationship. They request me to submit evidence like bank accounts, investments made together. Since my wife in VietNam, she does not have SSN so we cannot join to any financial institutes in America except our timeline. Can anyone suggest me how to submit more evidence that would help USCIS determine that we have a bona-fide marital relationship. We don't have any children together. We were married on March 02 2011. I submitted I-130 form at the end of March and got the NOA1 on April 01 2011.:bonk:

I had the same RFE, as we met at work and became close friends to another couple from work, we sent a letter written by them and a picture of us together with them and my daugther. We sent another letter of my very best friend and a picture of the 3 of us. We sent letters from my hubby's mother and 2 brothers. And we sent a wonderful letter from my hubby's boss who happen to also be a friend. And of course some picture of me and hubby here in France, in Portugal (I'm Portuguese) and in the USA. The petition was approved a few days later biggrin.gif. The best prove of relationship is having friends talking about you and your wife.

Along those lines you can also put him as Paid on Death on your checking, savings, assets accounts... I did this bcos i couldnt get him on my bank accounts until he actually gets here. So every statement lists my name and his when it arrives.

Get letters from friends and family that know about your relationship and have them write a letter telling how they know you, know about your relationship, and that they see its a good and real relationship etc.... sign, date address contact number etc on it.

Yes...pics, a few copies of cards, invitations, other items but only include copies at this point not originals you will still need those for the NVC and/or interview.

Where is your petition/file now? Who sent you the request for evidence?

What evidence of your relationship did you already submit?

Thank you for yours respond. my petition now at the local USCIS agent in Laguna, Orange County, Ca. The reason the local USCIS send me the notice for more evident because my wife had failed the interview for I-129F last October 2010. The USCIS was informed by Saigon consulate that my I-129F did not show enough evident for our relationship. On the I-130 form that I sent out on March 2011 I included the married certificate and the 2 letters Affidavid support from my best friend and my mother to witness our relationship. :bonk:

Thank you for your advise. As I read the notice USCIS suggested me the same thing that you has done. I will attach my timeline relationship, pictures before and after the marry. Chat and internet copies of messenger from Yahoo. I already attached the letters from my best friend and my mother in the I-130 file when I mailed out last March. I wonder if I need to resubmit those letters again. I am so glad that you have given me the advise because it was happened to your file.

Ok, so you failed the K1 interview and now are pursuing a spouse visa. Have you dealt with the returned K1 petition yet? Do a lot of reading in the Vietnam regional forum to have a better understanding of how things go at HCMC.

From what you've told us you haven't even given the CSC enough to believe that you are married. That's not a good start.
