I AM A U.S. CITIZEN LIVING IN THE U.S. WITH MY HUSBAND WHO IS A NIGERIAN AND HAS HIS GREEN CARD. MY HUSBAND HAS TWO CHILDREN (IN NIGERIA) THAT I HAVE PETITIONED TO COME TO THE U.S TO LIVE WITH US. THE PAPERWORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND WE SHOULD HAVE THE INTERVIEW DATE VERY SOON. THEY LIVE WITH THEIR GRANDPARENTS, IS THERE GOING TO BE ANY ISSUE WITH THE GRANDPARENTS TAKING THEM TO THEIR INTERVIEW AND FOR MINORS 5 AND 7 WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS WILL BE ASKED AT THE INTERVIEW?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP YOU MAY HAVE

GOD BLESS

May Everyday Be Blessed

I don't know. You may want to post again in the regional forum to see what people with experience of the Nigerian Embassy have to say.

In general, no-one can accompany interviewees to the interview, although for a minor child a US citizen may be allowed to accompany. (You'd think so!) But I doubt Nigerian citizens will be allowed to accompany. I can't be sure.

My mom, who was not a US citizen, was able to accompany my 4-year old son to the interview. This was in Manila, Philippines. Most of the questions were actually asked to my mom and not my son. He was too young to understand some of the questions. Hope this helps. :)
