Rearranging names in alphabetical order

Usually, the standard is by the date the application was submitted... it will be much easier for you to see progress....

However, this is your month and if everyone is OK with the alphabetical order, there is no harm in doing so...

Updating my status...unfortunately, I'm out of LA on the east coast on business (and then out of the country for a week) and the biometrics letter arrived just after I left (so I couldn't even try to go in early!)

I've already sent in my rescheduling of biometrics request to my local office per their instructions. I checked my status update and it still shows me as having my appointment tomorrow! urgh.

I spoke to a USCIS customer service guy, who was really nice, but basically said there is nothing they can do and I wouldn't hear back from them anyway until my appointment was rescheduled. His basic stance was if I sent in a rescheduling notice my case should be ok just delayed!

I just want to ensure that my application is not considered abandoned. I've read on this forum and others that when I get back to LA I should just make an infopass and see where I am/put myself back on track. We have a copy of the appt letter with box ticked, the attached letter I sent in as well, and the mailing receipt.

Sadly, given the economy, when I get a consulting gig I need to go...don't have the freedom to say no to paid work these days! I'll be back in LA in 2 weeks...pains me but at least it isn't my perm resident application.

I finally received an email today that my application has been placed in line for an interview!!! Oo how the waiting is dreadful. I guess the walk in bio really paid off since it was supposed to be 08/12. Good luck to us all

I'm sure you will hear something soon! The thing I learned from looking at past months is that KC goes really fast to the interview-and then you wait 2-3 months for the oath ceremony :( I dont mind though, atleast the hard part will be over!

Ain't that the truth? Just look at my case as an example. Everything was going so fast I could barely catch my breath... until after I passed the interview. Still waiting for my oath, which looking at it, will probably take place in Sept. I can only hope.

Hopefully, your wait is not as bad as mine.

Ain't that the truth? Just look at my case as an example. Everything was going so fast I could barely catch my breath... until after I passed the interview. Still waiting for my oath, which looking at it, will probably take place in Sept. I can only hope.

Hopefully, your wait is not as bad as mine.

We have been tracking your status (ok that came across a little stalkish haha)! I keep checking everyday hoping you get your oath letter :) Do you live on the KS or MO side? I found the dates for the KC MO courthouse but I heard if you live on the KS side you may get an interview in KCKs or Topeka- do you have any info on this? I wonder if they are just that busy (doubtful since they fly through the interview process) or if they just hold until they have so many and then put those people on a date.
