OK spoke to a level 2 officer, apparently if you request to do this twice you get put through! I thought it would be much more difficult than that :wacko:

The IO was very nice but unfortunately he told me that they only rely on computer information, and that my case just read "passed the interview October 6th".... and so Infopass appointment number two at Seattle field office...

I'll make one for next week, and if I don't get any further news from the IO the second level officer on the phone said I could request to ask for the interviewing officer, which I think I may do if I don't get any progress... I could hardly forget that guy's name lol

this whole thing makes you just want to :bonk: lol

I know it is frustrating sharky. Nonetheless, they do complete all the security checks before the interview. You can always try to see if you can talk to the adjudicating officer, see what he says.. Regardless, they cannot hold your file more than 120 days after the interview. If they do, they are looking at a case against them in the court. I hope that you get some good news soon. You and boilermaker.

On November 15, 2011, we scheduled you for your oath ceremony and sent a notice providing the date, time, and location.

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.. :dance:

Yeah I tend to agree what Boilermaker said, the whole security checks after the interview does seem like a strange thing to hear, but then again my "excuse" was "it's still with the officer" lol

I have my second infopass appointment for next Monday, they are gonna get sick of seeing my face down there but I'm not letting up on this.

Wow, that's quick. At the time i placed the appointment, I could not find any spots available within two weeks. I hope you get more satisfying news.

Sucks that today I wont find anything in my mailbox, haha

Thanks for the heads up Arlington. This is just ridiculous!!

The USCIS website just posted another update to the processing times for the DC office. It says that as of the end of Sept., they were processing applications from March 16, 2011. That is an improvement from the February 9, 2011 date from the previous month.

Just wanted you guys to know, thanks in no small part to the VJ community from way back when we FIRST filed for her to come here on an I-130 back in January 2008 to now ...

I-751 Process -

5/24/10 : I-751 Packet sent to VSC

5/26/10 : Delivered to SAINT ALBANS VT 05479 @ 11:46am

5/27/10 : NOA1 Date (based on scanned check image)

5/28/10 : Funds withdrawn from bank account

6/04/10 : NOA1 (I-797) received, confirming above NOA1 receipt date.

7/31/10 : Biometrics letter received - Appointment date of 8/11/10!

8/11/10 : Biometrics done!

8/29/10 : GC received (sometime last week lol)! (WOW!)

Previous timeline of our Busy 2008!!

1/06 : Married my JAAN :)

1/15 : I-130 and I-129F sent to Chicago Lockbox

1/17 : Both petitions received @ Chicago

2/27 : Check cashed & I-130 petition visible on system.

I feel so bad to post this seeing that all of you all been waiting so long and i feel your pain.

My update is that after sending a letter to reschedualing my oath on Tuesday 1st of November, on 15th of novemeber my online status said i failed to appare at my ceromony. so i called USCIS and they told me a letter was send with instrustions but i should make an Info pass appt. As soon as i made the Info pass appointment my online status changed to " an oath was schedule and on the 15th they sent me a letter with a new oath date.

I guess Philly is board so they want things to do.

even tho my N-400 journey will be over soon i still keep you guys in mind because then im still waiting on my I-130 to get my hubby here. That's the hardest part of my process.

I WISH BEST OF LUCK TO YOU GUYS STILL PENDING....

For those who have their oath scheduled or completed, how much time did it take from the status being changed from "placed in que for oath scheduling" to "your oath ceremony has been scheduled"

If i am not mistaken, mine is 53 days! :)
