And apparently my office goal is 5 months.....so I guess they can take 40 days before they put serious effort in my application (at least that's my guess)..

mine too, I just checked their website, although the IO at the infopass meeting said 4 months. The crazy thing is that after all this is over and done with, we STILL will have no clue as to why WE were delayed and others were not...

Well, I guess if one wants to be very curious about this, a request to see one's file can be placed through Freedom of Information Act...(correct me if I'm wrong).

Hi,

I posted and checked message in May and June Filers. It seems some of the May filers have received interview notices recently. I was hoping for response from some of the Washington DC Filers, if they checked the status with UCIS since some of them have completed 90 days. I am guessing now that I may get interview late Jan or Feb. Anthing else I can do to find more accurate timeline? Thanks for the response.

One of the May filers from DC region just got some movement (see their thread). So, by that metric, we may get our letters around New Year's (for interview in early Feb?). I was also despairing (there were no DC people in the April filers thread, so it was hard to get a sense of how far behind the DC office was getting).

I am literally WILLING my updates to do SOMETHING lol

I really wish something would happen on my case, its been 5 weeks now since the N400 interview and nothing has happened

"Oh yes.. i am definitely relieved now.. The things it got to hear during the interview were crazy.. as they said that your I-130 had not been approved.. but your I-485 was. I was ready to hear from them that since your I-130 was not approved, your greencard is null and void and here is your new one.. apply for Citizenship after three years .. but i guess it didn't go down to that.. but I did have a law suit prepared just in case "

I had an infopass appointment 11 days ago and the IO at the desk told me the case is "still with the officer".... and no more

what that means I have no idea, if I don't hear anything in the next two weeks I'm going to make another infopass and try and find out what the hell is going on.....

I hope it doesn't come to that though

You can always ask to see your case's adjudicating officer..
