Congratulation!. Can you share with us what kind of questions was asked? Also were u filing on the bases of 5-year or 3-year with marriage to a USC? by the way, I am talking about the harder questions not the one about civic questions.

Feeling so frustrated right now, just still waiting on our approval. My husbands 3 year anniversary was up on the 4th (Interview was on Sept 8th) but haven't heard anything re an approval at all We thought we might get lucky and hear something on the 5th. Has anybody else had their 3 yr anniversary come up after the interview-how long did it take to get your approval? Blah, I hate waiting. Can't wait for this whole process to be over!

Isn't it ironic that some of the most nerve wracking times for waiting is AFTER you have completed your N400 interview? I'm reading on several different groups about people having to make infopass appointments or having to speak to a second IO just to find out what has happened to their oath ceremony schedule etc.?

It makes me SO nervous because I have a flight booked out of the USA on Jan 10th and I need my passport before then. I know that probably wasn't the wisest move on my behalf but still....

I keep looking at my phone waiting for the text update to come about "your oath is line to be scheduled etc.".......... arrgggggghhhhhhhhhh

oh well, I've had five years of this, a few more weeks isn't gonna kill me

8am left home (so nervous)

9something parked car and walked for 2 mins to 1600 Callowhill St (USCIS office in philly)

9:45 gave Interview NOA to recept, sat down and waited.

My appt was for 10:45 but i gave my self time to go thru traffic and get lost.

10:17 my name was called

IO took me into the office and ask for my card (greencard)

he said " ready for the test" yes was my answer.

Question not in the order that he asked but in the order i remember (supprising for how nervouse i was)

1.What are two parts of congress

2.What is the name of the president of the united states now?

3.what is the name of the vice president of the united states now?

4.Who is the commander in chief of the military?

5.Who wrote the Declaration of independance?

6.Who was the 1st President?

7.Name one state that boarders Mexico?

8.What is the political party of the president now?

9 What is the other politial party?

10.I cant remember this question.

I answered all correct and he asked all 10 did not stop at 6 correct.

it seems like a loth but as soon as he asked i answered and he question again, it was very quick 2 mins it took.

then he just quickly ask some questions about my app. (eg: my husbands name, if i have ever went to jail)

10:22am i was out of his office passed my test and told the oath will be in 3-4 weeks.

GOOD LUCK TO THOSE IN LINE.....THE KEY IS NOT TO BE NERVOUSE......I WAS THO VERY.....

I really hope that all the people who passed the interview recently or last month like Amine's baby are naturalized before Thanksgiving. Most offices have tons of oath ceremonies. It shouldn't be a problem to squeeze one of us in!

I'm pretty good, just playing the waiting game lol. Its so funny going through the USCIS process on this site, I feel like we hit all the hurdles of the process at the same time hahahah. Congratulations on the interview! I'm hoping you get a date soon to forever be free of the process. Let us know how the Oath ceremony goes, it actually sounds like a fun ending to this awful process lol.

Received the letter today and it is scheduled for Oct 25th. However spouse is still in scheduling queue. Hope to get it on the same day otherwise have to make two trips:(

Received notification for spouse today about oath letter has been mailed. But doubt if is going to be on the same day.

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum.I need some helpful information about N-400 application process.I am a green card holder and I have applied for citizenship in July 2011.I did not receive my biometric appointment.I called the customer service centre on 9/14/11 for biometric fingerprint service request. They said that I have to wait 30 days to get a response from USCIS .I did the fingerprint in may 2011 for my nursing license purpose.. In the meantime I received the yellow letter (initial review completion) on 10/10/2011 and it says they need additional documents at the date of interview. Anyone had interview without biometrics?

7/27/2011N-400 Application sent to Texas

7/28/2011 priority date

8/1/2011 NOA letter received

10/10/2011 letter received for additional document submission(drivers license/ photo ID)

Biometrics pending?????

I hear you on the waiting game. I just want to be done with all of this. It feels like my life is on hold. Oh well, the hardest part is behind.
