On September 28, 2011, we placed yourapplication in the oath scheduling queue. We will send a notice when the ceremonyis scheduled.

I had a very easy interview today. The actual interview lasted about 10 minutes. The total time I was in the building was 32 minutes including the waiting time. The IO was very friendly. After swearing in I asked him to update my application since I answered 'no' to the question if I ever received citation. I had couple of traffic tickets in the past. He let me updated and said it's not a big deal. He didn't ask for proof of payment for the citations.

He didn't asked to see any of the documents I brought. He said the evidence I sent with my application was more than enough. He went through the application package and asked some of the yes/no questions. After I signed the application he did the reading/writing tests. I read "How many senators do we have?" and write "We have one hundred senators."

These are the civic test questions I was asked:

- What's the name of the national anthem?

- Why there are 13 stripes on the flag?

- What happened on 9/11/2001?

- What's the name of the ocean on west coast of the US?

- What's the rule of law?

- How old do you have to be to vote for president?

He said everything was well but he couldn't approve me today because my three year anniversary is not up yet. but, I should expect the approval letter in the mail soon after the anniversary. I assume my oath date will be either November 9th or 30th. I would prefer October 25th but probably there is not enough time to receive the oath letter in time for that day.

50 days past since my husband got fingerprinted... he was plased in line for the interview date and still no more updates... should we worry?

I would start calling the USCIS phone or making an infopass and asking about whats going on. 50 days is quite a bit of time.

Congratulations.. When is the next oath ceremony in your area? If it is close then you should be getting another status update that you are scheduled for oath before getting an actual letter in the mail.

Received the notification today about scheduled oath ceremony and the mailed notice. Weird though, did not get it for the spouse. Every other notifications that were sent so far for both of us except this one.

Congratulations.. When is the next oath ceremony in your area? If it is close then you should be getting another status update that you are scheduled for oath before getting an actual letter in the mail.

Got my interview scheduled for Oct 11th. But due to things at work have to reschedule..Does anyone know how long we have to wait til we get the rescheduled day for interview?

Usually they will place you back in the interview queue as if you applied recently... and when they get to your application (again) they will send you another notice.

Same thing for me, I got the same notification the same day. I am just waiting for it to say that I have been scheduled for the oath ceremony. Hopefully it changes status next week, I am really anxious.

I guess October 25th

Received the letter today and it is scheduled for Oct 25th. However spouse is still in scheduling queue. Hope to get it on the same day otherwise have to make two trips:(

My husband had his interview today and passed! Yay, one more step and we're done! We got to the office about 40 minutes early but he had to wait 45 mins after his scheduled appt time to be called in. Once he was in, it took 10 minutes for him to come back out with the good news...now just have to wait for the oath ceremony--i think he's going to miss the next one (since it's in 3 weeks) but that's okay--just glad this part is over and done with
