Packet 3 from Ciudad Juarez

Hi,

I thought I read on here that some US petitioners received the Packet 3 from Ciudad Juarez in mail at their US addresses. Is that correct? I called today to see if one was sent to me and I was told that no, they are only sent to the fiances in Mexico. And it can take up to a month to arrive. (Ours was sent on June 14th.)

I already know everything that the packet says because I've seen it online. I just know that we need to actually have the letter for my fiance's medical and visa interviews. We aren't planning to go until the middle of August and I *hope* it will arrive by then.

In our case, I got the letter in Mexico and my fiancé never received it in US. In other cases petitioner got it and beneficiary didn't.

our case was the other way around-- we received it in the US, but not in Mexico. I've read of people getting it in both places too..

my fiance got a notice 2 dyas ago saying i should be getting packet 3 within a week. the notice date its june 17th and i still havent get anything :/

When I called the consulate to find out the status of my packet 3 I asked them if they sent a copy to the US as well-- they told me no. Obviously they were wrong. I've read of others asking and being told no as well. I don't think the call center people have all the answers. I don't want to assume anything because you know what they say about assuming-- but there is probably a good chance they've sent a copy to you in the US

We received it in both the US and Mexico, with the US being the first place it arrived. They also told us it wasn't being sent to the US, but it showed up a couple of weeks later.

i got it in the US my fiance never got it, my fiance called and they told her they only send it to the US,, so that weird jeje

Yeah, dont trust what they tell u over the phone. Those guys working at the Juarez consulate dont seem to know much. The consulate ALWAYS mails packet 3 to both petitioner and beneficiary. Who will get it first? who knows! In my case my fiance in the US got it like 4 days after they mailed it and I have not gotten anything yet, I'm bringing his copy to the interview though.
