Finally! An UPDATED DS-156!

Thanks for the update, but I already filled out the old one so now I have two questions;

1) when you fill out the form, does it get transmitted electronically online to their office?

2) if I already filled out the old DS-156 when it was expired, should I fill out the new updated DS-156 before the interview?

No it does not get filed electronically and Yes, it would be a good idea to have the updated one...it is better to be safe than sorry. Plus, it only takes 5 minutes to fill in the information again. Some embassys will not take the outdated ones...so really it is up to you

updated form is the key to approval!

We should use the updated forms coz when you use the expired forms it means not acceptable when there's an updated ones!..and it won't take a days or an hours to fill up and print the forms though!...Good luck to all of US!
