The link at US embassy in Nigeria link is not working to download the forms. I need help with the process on Packet 3 and 4. I have sent all the forms including I-130, employement letter etc. to my finacee except the Medical and Police report. Do I have to wait for a response from the embassy or she can go ahead with the medical and police report. Does she need to return packet 3? The site says no, some people say yes.. BTW she is pregnant as well...how is she affected with the medical? I would appreciate any help.

Yes the link is broken and has been for a while now. There is no rush with the medical you can wait until they send you the email with pkt 3 info because you will have plenty of time between the time you get the email and the actual interview. That is the same for the police report you get that the same day. She does not need to return anything to the embassy she needs to take everything with her on the day of the interview including the ds156 and 156k and the affidavit of support and its supporting docs, 4 passport photos, interview letter, visa fee, and all the other things to prove bonafide relationship chat logs, pics,boarding passes etc etc...Good luck to you !!!! :thumbs:

Hi Good Life, from ur question, it seems ur application is approved, putting all paper work ready for interview....

About your finace been pregnant, I asked a similar question on this forum about pregnancy during k1 interview process, about the immunizations on pregnant woman, because I heard that all medical has to be done before a visa is issued....

Have u tried enquring from the US embassy in Nigeria or the hospital where the medicals will be performed about this issue....

Pls dont fail to update us becos am in the same boat, am waiting for approval of k1 from VSC, and am travelling to nigeria in a short while, me and my fiance are considering having a baby soonest....

Hi Eme&Nne:

Yes I We have been approved and I have sent all the papers she need from me for the interview. She has taken all of her immunizations except Hepatitis A and she cannot take that while pregnant. We hope to find out when she goes for the medical and what impact this will have and I most certainly will let you know. It's almost impossible to get any information from the Embassy. I will continue to look for this information and will let you know. Good luck on your journey of love and life.

Hepatitis shot is needed however they will allow u to come and finish that one here no worries and congrats on the baby!
