It makes sense geographically. Vermont is closer so you would assume that it has a quicker chance of reaching NVC faster since they are located in New Hampshire.

I was approved on the 24th of June and I have yet to get NVC receive. I call everyday in the afternoon to see if the AVR is updated. I also call every night at 10 PM EST and talk to a live person.

I really suggest calling at this time since the operator picks up usually right away. Most of the people are nice as well and offer encouragement that it should be here soon...hang in there etc.

I have given myself the timeline that I want to have NVC complete by the end of August. I factored this wait for USCIS to NVC would be a month or so long...

Thanks for the update. I only spoke with the Operator/s twice, latest being yesterday. Since my last document for the DS-230/ I-864 is on it's way, I will start calling an Operator daily, so that I can save those 2 - 3 days (time lag between actual receipt and the automated message update). All the best to you too.

Once you get NVC case number and if your lucky and you get IIN at the same time. Just make sure you exchange e-mail addresses with the operator. This OFFICIALLY starts the process. Once the Agent DS-3032 Packet is released your IIN will be contained within this e-mail, if you did not receive it initially when you got your NVC number.

Both AOS and IV packets run on separate courses. Please understand this. People think you much pay both applications to be able to send off the paperwork. Most people send AOS first as it is usually generated first as it does not need DS-3032 agent form.

Also I have read that some cases the AVR updated concurrently as they called the NVC operator.

Check both.

Just make a routine to call once to a live person. If you call at night like I do it's better chances the mail has been processed for the day and you might get your NVC #.

Don't call a live person 3-4 times a day in my opinion, your doing yourself more harm calling a ton and expecting it to be updated every time.

Do youself a favor and try to save some of the mental health that is sane as I'm pretty sure USCIS has already drove you insane. LOL.

Thanks for update. I check the automated message 2 times daily - around 3 PM and 10 PM. Just started calling the Operator since last night 10 PM. I know that they keep a journal who calls and so I plan to call Operator only alternate days at 10 PM.

Will surely call an operator and give the email addresses, as soon as I get the NVC Case number. Here is what I know about NVC process - correct me if I miss something:

After the NVC case number is known, I can finalize/ complete all the AOS/ IV papers and wait till the case is entered into NVC system.

Once the case information is entered into the NVC system, the process starts. meaning the DS-3032 will be emailed to foreign spouse (copy to US spouse) and AOS fee can be paid online.

So I can use Invoice Identification Number (IIN) from the email (or call the operator to get one) to pay AOS fee online and foreign spouse can email the completed DS-3032 email format.

Once the DS-3032 is accepted, the IV fee will be available to be paid online, which can then be paid online.

Once the AOS fee status changes to "Paid", I can print the Cover sheet and mail the AOS packet.

Similarly once the IV fee status changes to "Paid:, I can print the Cover sheet and mail the IV packet (or I can both together when both are ready).

Then check the status till the NVC Case is complete.

I doubt they keep track of this.

If they do they don't keep record of it now. How many times do they take the Petitioner's or Beneficiary's name when your give them your CIS number? I have been asked once, but they cut me off in the middle of me telling my name when there was no record of the file at NVC.
