Hi folks, I'm going to have an interview in the next 3 weeks. But just a bit worried is what case they could deny your visa? I have everything I needed it such as...

- bith cert

- passports

- name changed

- police cert

- Visa fee

- I-134 form (bank statement, 3 months paystub, 3 years of tax transcripts)

- photos

- divorced paper

- App letter

Think that's all I needed. Could they still deny me a visa? I'm just worried cuz I have shipped all my stuffs over the USA, about to quite my job, sold my car. I know its now a wise idea but I don't think it shouldn't be a problem. As far as I read from the reviews they didn't ask you much at all just all about you and your fiance, please correct me if I'm wrong. thank you

nutchaya, other things to bring is proof of ongoing relationship. Also you say divorce paper, if it is the USC's divorce make sure you know all about the exwife because they can ask about that.

I am curious how hard it was for you to get your police records from Thailand.

Chok dee(good luck) with your upcoming interview!

Do note that London won't require proof of ongoing relationship. They are most concerned with the I-134 and supporting documents, as well as your documents (birth certificate, etc.) Make sure you have the US passport sized photos that are required.

Ensure you have copies and the originals for your documents. They will ask to see the original and then keep a copy. You need to have the copies handy; they won't make them for you.

London is quite easy - hope all goes well!

We're in the same boat; Interview in a week and a half. We've had issues before with a non-immigrant visa, so we're just nervous and not counting anything until we see the pink paper. We're too afraid to do anything non-reversible. We're just too worried, as the visas are left up to the discretion of the CO. I just don't see what else we can do to prepare.

If you're not inadmissible but there is something lacking in the interview (eg missing/wrong document, etc) then you will get the chance to put it right (eg mail in the correct document). Interviews in London really aren't anything to worry about :-)

Is that true? What could they possibly ask the beneficiary about the ex-wife of the petitioner? I've never heard that before. How does one prepare the beneficiary for that?

Also you say divorce paper, if it is the USC's divorce make sure you know all about the exwife because they can ask about that.

Would that be ok to use a photo scan copy of paystubs and tax transcript? I'm worried that I might not have enough time if my fiance mail the original to me.

Photo copy of paystubs are fine. I'd assume that your US fiancee would want to keep the originals.

With regard to tax transcripts.... I'm honestly not sure if they would ask to see the originals! :-/
