NVC as bad as USCIS

NVC received my case yesterday but didn't have the case number yet. Called again today, they gave me the case number and updated my info. The lady said that it should be processed by Friday and should be at the embassy next week. I am hoping to know the interview date by next Friday =)

Now, I just hope the interview is within 60 days of today =))

My case was approved a day after yours, but still NVC doesn't have my case yet. I hope I will hear good news soon! Congratulations!

They are really lagging but you should have yours really soon. I am guessing either tomorrow or Thursday. Good luck!!!!

Its been two weeks and NVC either doesn't have my paperwork or still hasn't processed it yet, but I don't understand, based on looking at the Timeline, how some cases go from USCIS to NVC to Embassy in one week and how some cases take a month. The inconsistency is very frustrating. Just curious if anyone from first two weeks of June is still waiting for NVC\Embassy info?

3 weeks for CSC seems to be the Norm. You will have to call. Don't expect Roses in the mail because they won't come. Our NOA2 was approved 6/9. Nothing has ever been sent. I called yesterday and they stated it was 7/6. and a # was issued. Keep in mind as I forgot to ask the operator: Was that the date you recieved it or was the the Date the Embassy in Manila was mailed too. I don't know anymore what their doing. I never know whats going on anyway with this System.

Oh my, I'm just hovering on this topic to see if we will get ours soon based on your experiences. Maybe they sent a big batch with ours in it So nervous!!

I have good news and bad news. Good news is that NVC finally got our case and it is being processed at the moment. Bad news is, they are sending it to the wrong consulate. I initially requested that the petition to be processed in US Embassy Singapore. My fiancee currently works and lives there and it was on our initial application to have it processed over there. However, for some other reason, NVC is sending it to the Philippines because they said she was Filipina. Oh well, her mailing address on our application was a Singapore address. How could they miss that? I just wanna do this to them right now!!

We're at business day 14 now. Still nothing in the NVC system. I have an email to nvcresearch@state.gov primed and ready to go with our NOA2 notice in .pdf format attached. If they don't have it in their system on Monday when I call, I'm hitting the 'send' button.

do you depend on the automated system or speak with a live customer service rep? mine didn't get updated on the automated system. I only found out that they got my application when i spoke with a live person. good luck!!

We're in the same boat. I'm so happy to see progress being made for my fellow visa pursuers!! We're getting close to my date I think. But yes, I waited the 15 business days until last Friday (called about 3 times in between.. oh well) and sent out my NOA2 copy that day. No response yet, but no surprise there as it was a weekend. I'm really pulling for this next week since most people seem to be getting them in their fourth week of waiting. Come on NVC!!

Just tracked DHL (unless I did it all wrong) our case was delivered and signed for at the US Embassy in Moscow.... I wonder when I can write to request the date for the interview and of course the eventual follow up request to move up the interview date =)

Well the automated system does not have info in K1 Visas.... I had to speak with an operator and she was kind and said that yes they have it but it has not been entered into the system.. to call back on friday and get the number... i am hoping it will leave nvc by friday as well... i really hope to know the interview date in about 2 weeks

Congrats!! Thank goodness things seem to move faster after NVC (although I thought this was over after USCIS, hence the genius of the thread title haha)! Just kidding, don't let me jinx it
