Almost a month and still nothing from NVC. Emailed them and got a response that USCIS had sent everything to NVC and that I should just shut the f up and wait 6 to 8 weeks =((

...and that's good advice. You've not waited nearly as long as some folks.

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

which timelines? VJ? The people on VJ respresent but a fraction of total filers.

Why get your underoos in a wad?

Your case is moving and no one said it was going to be a fast process. I hate to sound unsympathetic; but honestly your wait time is nothing and you seem to not be comparing yourself to those that have waited longer...but rather to those that are afew days ahead of you.

If it eases your mind, ours was at NVC for afew weeks too.

Well, I just think this month must have been particularly slow. My NOA2 got approved a few days before yours and I just got my NVC case number today... so I'm guessing that yours will hopefully get there by next week!!

I just looked at your timeline tmma, and from the time you got your NOA2, to the time it LEFT the NVC was less than FIVE DAYS. So maybe we are comparing ourselves to you. You did not wait a few weeks like you are leading on...

A lot of the people here have memory loss problems...and seem to forget the pain, waiting etc when they were going through the process.

Ironically, it's almost always those who went "quickly" through the process that are the negative people.

Not sure why NVC is taking so long, could be that UCSIS is slow in sending it. The standard "4 weeks" or whatever they give you is just their "cover their a**" response.
