Hello everyone --

Fatima arrived from UK on 5/27, and we have been going through the 'adjustment' from long-distance vacation romance to daily living together -- a bit challenging !!

Now we're trying to get our act together to proceed, and are a bit overwhelmed...

Questions:

Are applying for work permit and travel authorization for Fatima dependent on our getting married first??

Seems like the answer is yes on this, just wanting to be sure.

If so, we might just go to a judge to do this with minimal stress of planning and organizing a wedding...

or have a very small private in-home ceremony.

How much is the AOS process going to end up costing us?

Thanks -- the support will be appreciated!

I'm starting to print out the guides, FAQs, tips, etc. as well, to get a handle on the process, form numbers, etc.
