30 Nov 2010 - Sent I-130 to Chicago

1 Dec 2010 - I-130 received at Chicago

18 Apr 2011 - APPROVED!! NOA2 text and email

NVC

29 Apr 2011 - Case entered into the system/Case number assigned; Medical Exam in Sydney

30 Apr 2011 - Police Check Application sent

2 May 2011 - Called NVC and got Invoice ID number

3 May 2011 - Sent DS-3032 email

4 May 2011 - Received email reply from NVC for DS-3032; Received Medical Exam results

5 May 2011 - AOS invoiced and paid

7 May 2011 - AOS package sent; IV invoiced and paid

9 May 2011 - AOS package delivered to NVC according to tracking

20 May 2011 - RFE for missing IV package....still waiting on Police Certificate!

24 May 2011 - Received Police Certificate after 25 days (so much for 7-10!); IV package sent

27 May 2011 - IV package delivered according to tracking

8 Jun 2011 - RFE for original marriage certificate; requested supervisor review since we KNOW it was in the package!

30 Jun 2011 - SIF and CC - FINALLY!!!!

13 Jul 2011 - Interview date assigned! Scheduled for August 9th @ 10am

9 Aug 2011 - Interview - APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12 Aug 2011 - Visa in hand

August interviewees - received anything from the consulate yet???

Hi - I have my medical scheduled for July 25th and my interview in Montreal is scheduled for August 2nd but we haven't received the interview package yet. Has anyone else had any luck so far?

Will do!

I don't know exactly when the file gets forwarded to the embassy/consulate. I keep reading conflicting information. Some people say it is forwarded just after CC, others say it isn't sent until the interview date is assigned. So I'm not sure on that one.

NVC operator mentioned they ship out the case to consulate after the interview is scheduled.

My interview is scheduled for August 9th....I only just got the email with date and time today (Wednesday afternoon US time). We called on the 13th and got the date and time from NVC operator....so it has taken about a week for us to get the email.

I asked the same thing a few days ago and have started seeing ppl getting there's, so hopefully you will have it by the end of the week.

Please keep me posted once you receive the email and I'll do the same.

Do you know the case file will be sent to the consulate ? or if the AVR message change once the file sent ?

Got my email today (Wednesday afternoon US time). Have you got yours yet?

Also....guessing that maybe they do wait until the interview is scheduled to send the file to the consulate.....I emailed my embassy to ask if my file was there yet...and they told me it is still in transit.

25/05/2011 Sent Request to clear the error in my name (ughhh)

27/05/2011 PAID the IV BILL -statut in process

28/05/2011 got the response for my request to modify the error in my name..== OK

31/05/2011 AOS Package sent via usps express

01/06/2011 IV bill statut " PAID "

03/06/2011 AOS Package received by NVC

Thanks - we're very excited! It's been such a long wait. All we need now is the letter and to arrive in Montreal and then we're ready for both the medical and interview. I just hope it comes in time, it'll be weird if it doesn't. Still we're pretty sure it will be okay (crossing fingers).
