Help!!!

I had filed an I-90 for replacement of my green card. I moved out of my old apartment and called USCIS 7 days before moving to change my address to the new one. i also filed the AR-11 all in good time. Anyway after i moved out they sent my biometrics appt letter to my old address which then got forwarded to me a month later. So basically i missed my appt. What shall i do? Can they allow me to reschedule? what does this mean for me? How can i fix this?

Please help. Am desperate.

I don't know If this would help or not.

But When I applied for N-400, got the biometric appointment letter for dated August 26th 2005, and I knew I wasn't gonna be in the country. I had called USCIS and I was told to reschedule by writting them a letter and explaning why wouldn't I be able to go. And, then, I called one of the Immigration lawyer and got the same answer..... After getting all negative answers I thot of asking someone who had filed AOS prior to that date and had gotton a biometric appt letter stating to appear there for fingerprints taken. He said I could just go there and have my fingerprints taken. They don't really care when you go as long as you have the appt letter... So, If I were you... I would just go in there and tell them to take your fingerprints....(It woudn't harm you in anyway), If not, make an infopass appointment and try to get a new appt letter.

Hope It helped a bit. :P

Does the letter not say anything about "if you miss the appointment you can show up any Wednesday until xx date"?

Best advice is either to make an Infopass or just show up at the ASC with the letter and they will most likely just do your biometrics.

I suggest you go and talk to the folks at ASC, if it is not too far. Rescheduling is all handled at the local ASC office.

thanks for all your responses. I decided to go to the local ASC office in the morning and told them that i had just received my appointment letter in the mail and they let me in and took my biometrics and was done in under an hour. was so relieved! So i guess as long as you have an appointment letter they'll process your biometrics.
