My fiance received her packet 4 from the embassy in Bogota. It said that the visa had to be mailed to her house. I have read from several places that you can wait 3 or 4 days and pick it up at the DOMESA in Bogota. Can anyone clear this up for me? I have already made plans to be in Bogota for the interview and stay for a week to pick up the visa.

I know that you can give the DOMESA 'office' that is located inside the Embassy any delivery address you wish as long as the person named on the delivery is there with identification to receive it, whether that is in a hotel in Bogota or some other city.

The problem here would be that you are depending on the Embassy getting it to DOMESA in 3-4 days. besides the delivery I don't know how many days the Embassy itself takes to put the VISA in the passport. It used to take till the next afternoon about 5 years ago.
