Hi guys. Today was our interview and it went really well. We turned up about five or ten minutes before the scheduled interview time and were waiting not even half an hour to be called in for the interview. The only thing that caused any kind of majour concern was that for some reason some of a Japanese person's information was put in our file. Even though we didn't have the I-693A Vaccine Suppliment, it went fine. The interviewer seemed to be firm but fair and was very helpful in explaining things. We were asked to give my passport and my wife's photo ID, my I-94, evidence of us living together, our co-sponsor's birth certificate and letter of employment. There vaccine suppliment wasn't even an issue. He said that the physical and vaccine record was fine. The actual interview probably lasted between 15 to 30 minutes. We were hardly asked any questions about each other, only about what we had put in the paperwork.

People may have noticed that I can become stressed and worry alot about immigration matters. I hope that the fact that our interview went well will help to relax some people. I did spend most of last night awake though, sorting through paperwork and making sure copies were made. We can finally stop bugging our co-sponsor for things and I can finally work. More than anything though, we can finally be together without interviews and feeling like at times that someone else has the final say on our relationship.

Oh, by the way, we applied in late June and had the interview in early September. My Green Card was approved before I even recieved a descission on my Employment Authorization Document. Is that a record?
