Hi,

I'm almost finished preparing the AOS package.I'm confused and worried about I-485 part 3c asking about past and present membership or affiliation. After i came to the US i was a member in one of my country's pro-democracy party in Washington DC.Its is NOT a communist or totalitarian party .They are very peace loving organization, they only believe in talk.anyways I stopped my membership after 6 because i got busy with life and my wife is not in to politics.I'm also a evangelical church member for more than 10 yrs .

Being a member in this political party and religious organization going to be a problem for me in AOS process?does anyone have experience regarding this?Any input is much appreciated.

Probably not a problem, though I am not familiar with the groups. Although I don't see how a pro-democracy party and an evangelical church would be a worry. Even if it were a worry, you should disclose it and you would get a chance to explain yourself. Honesty is the best policy.

AOS for my husband

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
