What should the USA citizen spouse do? Should the citizen spouse go with the non-citizen for the interview? What questions will be asked during the interview?

I bet the only thing needed is to show that marriage has been 3 years and show the evidence to proof it?

No, the US citizen spouse is not allowed into the interview room, although their presence in the waiting room usually makes good impression.

Questions are pretty much the same as on the N-400 form, they check if anything has changed since you filled it out. Plus the civics test questions, of course.

Yes, you should bring the proof of marriage with you (originals).

You can go and sit in the waiting room and you can go to the oath after the testing is passed if you want. That is about it.

N-400 is all about the LPR becoming a citizen.

Unless there's something huge stopping him my husband for sure would be there. For a couple of reasons.. to support me of course and also to drive home because I'd be so giddy to find out I passed (after what I'm sure would be lost of studying) I wouldn't trust my driving

While the USC spouse is not allowed in the testing and interview, her/his presence makes some difference. During the interview, they asked me if I'm on our home loan, full access to the joint bank account, living in the same house, kids together, and looked through all the documents I submitted pertaining to marital relationship like insurance policies, healthcare, etc.
