Sorry, I posted this twice...

Hi everyone. I have been reading this site off and on since September of 2009. Up until now, I found that me and my husband's case is the MOST extraordinary. I won't go into details of the entire situation because I don't think this website would be able to hold that much info. My husband's case goes back 23 years. Anyways, My husband had his first interview at Casa on 6-20-2011, and the CO asked my husband normal questions I suppose, but my husband has diabetes and has a serious memory problem, so there were things he couldn't remember. He made the CO aware of his memory problem.

A little background: My husband and I have been married for nearly 5 years, we've lived together in the US for a a few years already, I have 2 kids from a previous marriage (ages 14 and 17), my husband is 50 years old, and I am 37. We had to do an I-212, and I-601 for an overstay, and we are trying to have it expedited due to my daughter's mental illness (Paranoia Schizo, Bipolar, Obsessive, Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety, Mood Disorder, and Suicidal Tendencies, and needs constant supervision, and she was in a mental hospital this year).

The CO was asking questions to test the validity of our relationship, which I kind of thought was strange since we have already been living together, and made a big deal that my husband couldn't remember the website we met on. My husband's interview was pretty much a mess because of his memory problem, but I 'think' the CO accepted his memory issue, although I'm not sure. He took my husband's passport, and told him they would call next week for a second interview, and told him he needed to look over everything, and gave him a 221(g; that the case has been suspended until further review and checked the box that says AP, and wrote a little note under it that says "waiver research"...

Any insight on what you all think. Any advice on the next interview. What's the process. Please explain if possible why the CO wrote "waiver research" on his 221(g). I don't really want any false hopes because our immigration story is truly a nightmare

I don't have any insight, just want to say good luck!

(and is there a Moroccan community in the triangle? That's where my fiance and I will be going in a few months, inchallah)...

Thread has been moved from MENA to Waivers and AP forum. Hopefully this move will generate more responses for the OP

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
