Does It Matter what date you put on your ROC Application?

Hi,

I am almost done with my ROC application and supporting matertial. Just wanted to double check about the date thats put there. Does it matter if I put in an early date or does it have to be within the 90 days window as well. My understanding is that as long as they receive the package within the 90 days window, the dates on the application don't matter. Your input would be appreciated.

I was just told this on my thread when I asked this question earlier. They said to make sure its all dated within the 90days but make sure that it is relevant to the time you mailed it too.

Why would USCIS care if I have signed it a year earlier.... As long as I am sending it within the time frame. The reason I ask, because when its time to file, I'll be deep in my summer session for Accounting and don't want to bother with the paperwork. I have already compiled the package and will just make a stop-over at the Post office when its time.
