I finally got our tax return transcripts (2009 and 2010) from IRS. Each transcript has 3 pages including their letter. I remember when we got ours from the H&R Block where we filed they gave us a bunch of paper, more than 3 pages. Does IRS send a summary? Did you guys also get 2 pages transcript 9without letter)? My GC expries on August 10th and I am sending my papers tomorrow. Thanks.

My tax transcripts have all been a letter and two pages of information. The documents from H&R block are not tax transcripts, so don't worry about how many papers they gave you. What you have is correct. Good luck.

I requested Tax Transcripts and Account Transcripts seperately. Got them both within a week. Usually they take within a week to 10 working days. Good Luck.

The one that H&R Block gave you had all the details, it is basically itemized. The IRS tax transcripts are summaries of your itemized tax returns so yes, The IRS ones have only a couple of pages.

You can also get your tax transcripts from your local IRS local office and they will give you on the spot. You can also order them online or on the phone and have them mailed or faxed to you.

Thank you! I requested our both Tax return Transcripts and Account Transcripts 20 days ago. I can't believe it took that long. Even though i know they need only return transcripts i am sending both return and account, to make myself feel better thanks again and good luck to all..
