HI,

My EAD is expiring on June 29, 2011. I applied for its renewal on May 19. I accept my mistake of filing it late. I got my EAD through employment. I am on the verge of losing my job if I do not get the EAD by june 29 which is pretty certain now. I checked on USICS website and it is still in initial review stage. I called USCIS several times to expedite my case under the severe financial loss criteria but it is not expediting. They say that the officer has not considered my case for expedite. They say when I called in first time I should have explained to them in detail how I fall under severe financial loss category. I told them that I will lose my job. But they said I should have explained more in detail. Please suggest me how to proceed.

Talk to your company see if they will hire you back when you get the EAD.

Doesn't sound like you will be getting the expedite should of applied sooner.

Call your congressman and ask someone there to help you. That's how I got my expedited.

According to your timeline your EAD took 122 days. I would hardly call that expedited more likely they realized it was passed 90 days and issued it.
