REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE FOR K2

I got my permanent resident card yesterday but my son who is 7 years old got a RFE. The letter states "Please have a medical exam conducted and submit a properly completed and signed Form I-693 ( with all pages and original signatures), Report of Medical Examination. You submitted an I-693 and the vaccination record is complete. HOWEVER, a TUBERCULIN TEST is required. The medical examination must be conducted by a physician who is on the list of Civil Surgeons approved USCIS."

My son had his tuberculin test during our medical exam at Saint Lukes, and it was negative. I have the copy of it stating he undergo a tuberculin test and was negative and sent it together with his AOS application. WHY DOES HE NEED ANOTHER MEDICAL EXAM AND A TUBERCULIN TEST THEN?

PLEASE HELP. Whoever had the same case and knowledge about this. Just confused and worried.

I'm sorry to hear about this. I honestly don't have any idea why they would want another one, but they may have lost the whole medical report, or who knows really? You may try to call USCIS to shed more light to your son's case. More experienced VJ members also might be able to help... Good luck! And congratulations, at least you already got your GC - that must be awesome!

Totally out of the topic, but I was just wondering if your son was assigned his own A# after you filed for the AOS? My 11 year old was assigned his own A# and my 5 year old is the same as mine... Just wondering what was up with that... Thanks in advance!
