What do rockets in Gaza have to do with building the Wall illegally on Palestinian land in the West Bank, in order to ultimately annex the illegal settlement blocs into Israel ?

What represents "progress" in the West Bank re: rockets, when there were never any rockets fired from the West Bank ?

I'm not sure why you keep connecting the wall to the rockets directly like that. I certainly am not saying that nor has mawilson.

What we are saying is that "removal of the wall" is progress. Is it not? IE there is progress in the West Bank.

There will be no progress in Gaza whilst rockets are fired.

I really don't know how to spell it out better for you.

I think what he was getting at is that progress is being made in the West Bank because ,comparatively, Abbas seeks a peaceful resolution whilst Hamas does not.

Rockets in Gaza = no progress

No Rockets in the West Bank = progress.

I am a Palestinian living in the West Bank NOW but let me understand HIS point 'Progress in the West Bank!!'

More illegal settlements

Losing more lands!

demolishing houses!

More military checkpoints in the West Bank, humiliate people on these checkpoints!

More restrictions on the people movements!

More restrictions on the Export and import products!

More restrictions on the water Palestinian can use! 'Palestinians' own water'

Thousands of Palestinian prisoners under Administrative Detention!! 'NO COURTS'

Torture children in prisons!

Families are separated because the Apartheid Wall!

Abas governments and their corruption!

And there are more in the list.......

And removing the Seperation Wall for a hundred meters or 2 in a village does not mean it is a progress. This happened after the village struggled for few years and they still. Many people got killed before this happened

We already know what the Israeli government thinks of international law and UN resolutions about its illegal behavior. But here's an example of what it thinks of its own Supreme Court - it took 4 years of continuous pressure to finally induce the Israeli government to obey the Israeli high court ruling, and that's only because of the tireless actions of the protestors and activists.

4 years and the Neten continuous orders of building new settlements, this action of tearing down the wall indicates a new expansion of building illegal settlements in the west bank, it's not like Israel all of a sudden will work in favor of the Palestinians !

Find a job you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life.

So.... you admit there were never any rockets being fired from the West Bank, which you stated was the reason for the Wall being built. This is "progress."

When did I state that? :huh:

I'm fully aware that no rockets were ever fired from the West Bank.

My point was that walls could be dismantled and territorial claims settled

in a court of law, and not by lobbing missiles and blowing people up.

Part of the reason may be that the perennial shakiness (due to always being coalition) of Israel's governments--with side-effect of transferring messy, complex issues to whosoever is next government (lousy idea, the issue neither gets dealt with nor disappears).
