We have Chinese food in our food court... it doesn't have the American Chinese food classics like moo goo gai pan, but it's not like American Chinese food is any closer to real Chinese food than Taco Bell is to Mexican.

Same thing with sbarro being "Italian"

Anyway... no Chinese or "Chinese" food in the malls of my city yet... While Japanese food is quite popular.

When she first got here, my wife would make a ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, balogna, etc., and say, "I eat today boorger for lunch." I tried to explain to her that boorgers are only greasy, nasty, delicious pieces of ground beef fried to perfection and then topped with cheese and she said, "Yes, but in America booorger it's means sandwich."

The correct Russian pronunciation is "GAHM-boor-ger" (true, that is the Russian word for it) They are deadly poison, cause tuberculosis, polio, cancer and brain tumors. If you eat one in front of an open window and catch a draft at the same time you will die immediately, right there. It happens. But if you take the same ground meat, mix it with onions, garlic, form it into BALLS and fry it in olive oil...it is good healthy natural food...here have 2 more! Must be that flattening the meat into a patty introduces all sorts of deadly pathogens.

It's the secret sauce. Just stay away from ketchup, mayonnaise, and waxpaper.

There is no getting away from the mayonnaise I'm afraid. It's Russian ketchup.

Uh, let's get this correct, huh man: You're suggesting giving both of your balls (fried first, no less) to a Russian woman?
