AOS Interview Experience

Hello VJ'ers

I would like to tell you all about our experiences with the Chicago District Office, where we had our interview yesterday. It was me and my wife and step-daughter and we all woke up at around 3:30a.m and caught the train to downtown Chicago and got USCIS at 7:45 and went through security and finally got to a window to turn in our interview I-797C. Interview was set for (9:25am & 9:50am) They told us to have a seat. Very nice people.

They called my wife's name and we all went toward the office. (10.00am) Once we got to the office, he said I'm sorry but, we don't have your file here so we are going to have to reschedule your interview. I was so hot I could have put him through the wall :angry: I was just thinking that, knowing I wouldn't do it, but I was pissed off so we left. I said #$%^& and told me wife we are going back up there and asking for a copy of the appointment letter along with speaking to a supervisor and trying to get a contact number for that office and I got that. She came out and gave us a SOB story on how they are trying to find the file as the officer told me it wasn't there that #######. She told us to have a seat again :angry: :whistle: So, it was now 10:45 and she said we found you're file. She asked us if we still want to have to the interview today or come back and reschedule it. She said we will do it today, but I don't know when it will be done. I was like geee thanks. So here comes 2:05pm now and finally we get an interview, after they have cleared the whole entire room.

My Score out of 10 is a -10

After getting there at 7:57 and getting an interview at 2:05, the office asked for all the documents and overviewed them and said I'm going to APPROVE your cases Congrats :thumbs: :dance: :dance:
