If she works in social services in Nome, I feel for her. Like Soffiyia pointed out...incest, rape, booze, etc... is way bad out in the Bush villages up here. The natives don't handle the booze so well, and the sex offender list up here is off the hook. Between the culture and the booze it's like a no win situation.

You don't have to go to Alaska for that - Alabama has plenty to offer on that end.

"Adult Incest" was one of the reasons (along with preventing dueling) that Alabama banned the psossession of sex toys a few years ago. No fooling. I would think that incest has been eliminated there by now.

Amby, if you want to have some fun, Google "Alabama Sex Toys" and read what comes up. You will wonder how adults could sit around and discuss this stuff, then vote for it in a legislature. But this is what happens when you accept the government telling you what you can do in your bedroom.

I was there in 1998 when Alaskans voted to amend the Constitution to outlaw same-sex marriage. A state where smoking a joint is considered to be civil liberty still can't get most of its citizens to support gay marriage. It's a hardcore place. Don't let anyone tell you different.
