Oh I left that job a lot of years ago before the rot had a chance to set in. Those jobs are a surefire way to end up in Tyler Durden land. Or is it Keyser Sose?

If you're really unlucky Patrick Bateman might even make an appearance. It's not pretty, so I hear.

Yeah, only the most useless and stupid people end up working call centers for more than a while. If you can start in one and then move up, great. If not, get the hell out. That chit is resume poison.

Indeed it is. I know a few people who made it, but it's a tough gig.

I will never be a part of your inner circle, fishdude. But your name suggests you could go for a job fishing with other manly men in Alaska.

Just because they have beards doesn't make them manly. Have you seen the bodybuilder skits from Little Britain USA?

Or the Taliban beards from Afghanistan, since even that comparison was brought up.

Me too.

I know someone who lives in Nome. I am going to ask her about it because she is not a gay hater. She will tell me the truth.

You would love Nome. Seven bars all within walking distance of each other, two with live music...sometimes. That place is off the hook. I worked there in the summer of 2007 building the ball mill (Iron Workers) at Rock Creek Gold mine. That place has it all over most parts of Alaska...as far as remote living goes.

But ya, ask your friend just how much we like gays up here. :D

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
