I don't receive E-notification for NOA - why?

Good day everyone!

With my previous submission that I get RFE, I am just wondering why I don't get the email or text notification about it even if I have submitted the said Paper Reduction Form. It took them a month before they've sent the RFE to us. How soon should we contact USCIS to follow up our application? Why is it when I look at most of the timeline here, it only takes 6 to 7 days and they already receive NOA hard copy while for me it took a month for me to receive the NOA with RFE? Why is it taking so long for me to know their actions even just on the acceptance phase?

You will receive a notification of acceptance. Not everyone get notifications right away, it might take some time. But meanwhile, if you sent the RFE response you can check your case status and you'll see if they are already reviewing your response.

Feb-01-11: NOA2 (email notification)

Jun-15-11: EAD and AP card production ordered
Jun-21-11: AOS approved!!

Jun-08-13: Package Sent

Jun-10-13: NOA1

Jun-18-13: Biometrics Appointment Notice

Jul-12-13: Biometrics Appointment

Aug-22-13: Transfer Notice - Case transfered to CSC

Oct-03-13: Approval Notice!!

Oct-05-13: Card sent in the mail

You can set up a USCIS online account through the link below. You can also opt to receive SMS or e-mail notifications or both.

If you filed the form with your package, you generally get one notification only. You will need an online account for further updates.
