I am wondering if there are any October, November, December filers still waiting for your NOA2's and haven't even received a Request for more Evidence?

How are you coping? :bonk::bonk::help::help:

Actually, your Timeline indicates you are approaching 7 months but still to Long. I noticed from Igor's List there are still Unapproved Petitions from December. (however, keep-in mind not all Members Update that page)

As you know, mine was only approved 2 weeks ago. (And yes, with a RFE for good measure after I called repeated)

I have to assume you have already asked for Service Request which is allowed after 5 Months & 31 Days in which you are past.

Let me know what you have done thus far. Tim

I called for service request and got an e-mail saying background cks inquire back in 180 days. I contacted my Senator and they were told the same thing. I keep e-mailing them and the finally told me my inquiries will be ignored until the 180 days are up.

I am going crazy.

Thats the reason. A Background Check is admissable for a delay in the process. (Because the Reason was Stated)

Your going to have to wait this one Out.

Thats a combination of both USCIS/Homeland Security and they are Not Required to give a Reason at this time and/or No Reason at all.

I hope for your Approval. It would be GOOD to get a RFE soon or an Approval without a RFE.

They are not questioning a incomplete Petition. There still doing a Background Check.

I know a lot of people will say its coincidence of timing, but since so many December petitions are still waiting, I'm convinced that my Senator (Toomey) was what got me through. I had contacted him the -day- I was at 5 months, he called (or his team) USCIS the subsequent Tuesday morning (4 days later), they notified me via e-mail they had called, and that afternoon I got my approval. I don't know what strings he pulled or what. I e-mailed him a thank you, and got back a nice response that indicated it was him that had done it, but of course its possible thats all just taking credit for coincidence. Like I said, however, I believe he did pull some sort of strings. I got -nothing- from USCIS despite repeated calls (multiple times a day), and Toomey just required me to sign a release letting him talk about my information on my behalf, and the very day after I got the release to him he called and I got approved. If your congressman/Senator isn't helping, contact another. You have to have at least 3 representatives, your two senators and one congressman, I'd go with all of them and see if they can make some headway, or at the very least get a more clarifying answer than "background checks." We all go through background checks, why should yours take 8 months while others only take 5?
