I-751 JULY 2011 FILERS

I know this is a little early to start a July thread, but I assume many of you are in the same boat as me...and are preparing your papers to be sent shortly. Instead of posting questions and stuff in June, I figured it was a good way to keep all our info in a July thread :)

My card expires Sept 30th, so I assume I can file anytime after June 30....give or take. I'm waiting on some IRS transcripts and then I will send my package off probably first week of July.

I'm doing the typical form I-751, with all my proof such as bills, taxes, photos etc. But does anyone know if we need to copy ID's? Like our Green Cards? Front and back?, how about our foreign passport?

From what I see, it appears I will have to pay the filing cost, plus two biometrics costs as I am filing a K2 with me.

I haven't checked timelines yet, but anyone have an idea from recent filers how long it's taking?

I think because I never got an interview the last time, we will likely get one this time.

Good luck to all of those who are preparing to file for July. And perhaps we can start a log of filers... damned be me if I was tech savvy enough to start one lol... but I'm sure someone will :)

Maria

I don't file mine till Sept but am getting my packet finished up right now, yes the instructions clearly state you must include a copy front and back of the green card.
