Ok So our K1 and K2 visas were approved last 6/22 and were just asked the usual questions:

How did we meet?

how many times he visited,

if we had previous marriages, his job, duarations of his stays,.. mostly dates that im pretty sure were answered accurately.. he was just browsing through our docs most of the time during the interview that only lasted for like 6 minutes and said " ok i will approve your visa now and expect it in few days.. goodluck Lance!.." (my 3 year old son)

However i cant help but wonder why he didnt even bother to look at the photo album i really put so much effort in making LOL with all my creativity and even the folder which contains other relationship proof such as emails, plane tickets, hotel reciepts, skype screenshots, engagement ring reciept, money transfer reciepts etc..

Is this usual? if so how many days were you able to have the visa on hand after the interview

TIA <3

It seems to me that most consuls approve or deny based on questioning rather than on evidence. I brought a LOT of proof to the interview, all neatly organized, but we were not asked to show a single piece of evidence or paper (not even the affidavit of support). It is important to have the evidence, if needed, but it might not be required at all! I am sure you will be happy the visa was approved though... Congratulations!

hello every one.. im an f2a unmarried daughter of a LPR.. im just worried about my petition because:

1. i have aged out., im already 21 last march 2011

2. everyone's timeline here is really fast unlike mine.. my priority date was nov. 3 2009. and until now i'm still waiting for my interview,, i was able to complete and sent back my paper works last january 2011.

3. i am diabetic,, some says that having it may affect my approval.. can somebody help me?

do you guys think that i could still get the approval??

i cannot answer the rest of the questions given cause my application was for k1 and k2 but i can assure you that being a diabetic wont give any problems at all as with the approval of your visa.. goodluck and keep healthy.. P.S : i had some sugar level problems not very long ago
