I can't believe this ! After 3 month of waiting for a NOA2 I am sitting here looking at my I134 that I had send in at the same time as I129F was send in.

I see that question 1 has an obvious mistake. :o

#1 I was born at.........under city it says Wolfenbuttel, Germany ....... and under country it says USA.

On my I129F it is correct and my birth certificate was also send in, along with naturalization certificate.

I was not born at the same time in Germany and USA , so will they see that as an obvious mistake or hassle me with RFE about this ?

I-134 is not a document you need to provide USCIS for when you send out the petition. It's for the USC to send their foreign fiance when they have their interview in their country.

So... I guess they'll disregard the I-134 form you've sent them. Good luck!

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

I used an agency and I knew nothing about the process, the agency send everything , the whole entire thing to USCIS (I 129F, G 325A, visa photos, Intent to marry, and all supporting documents.)

Will CSC forward this all to the embassy ? Am late for work....will check posts later, please help !

After NOA2, the case will be sent to NVC where they'll run security checks and assign a case number. Then it'll be sent to the consulate/embassy. I don't know what forms they'll actually send the embassy, if any.

In any case, you'll need an I-134 for the interview. So you have plently of time to correct it (and gather the supporting documents again, if necessary).

Thanks for your input everyone.

Yes, since I found VJ I realized I do not need to send in the I134 and other items I mentioned to USCIS.

However as I said the agency I paid about $800 to handle everything send in the entire forms and supporting documents needed for the Uscis AND embassy part all at one time. I knew no different way to go about it and that is why I paid for their "expert" service. Now everything seems to be messed up

for the embassy part. Is there anyone out there that had that happen and what was or was not fowarded to the embassy ? I would hate to think it all ended up inthe trash can instead of going to NVC and embassy.

Omoba, I don't think they will forward the documents to the embassy, even more so because they're asked directly from the embassy to the applicant *after* approval. So... I think it's likely that it will end up in the trash can.

Omoba,

Everything that you've specifically listed here (not sure what you are calling "all supporting documents", other than the I-134 that you wrote about in your initial post) should be sent to the USCIS as part of the petition package.

My wife wanted to use a visa agency, in her country, to help us with my petition package and her visa application. I dutifully visited the agency with her to get their instructions and afterwards went through those instructions pointing out all the errors to her. That was the end of that foolishness. We did, however, consult with a US immigration attorney.

I just talked to the agency. They are aware of that the I134 is for the embassy but send it just as extra anyway and said for me to send everything to my fiance so he will be prepared which I plan to do.They will also send me a corrected I134 immediatly for him.

They were waiting on my NOA2 to inform me of the next step and I got ahead of that and there was a miscommunication. Thank God for VJ .......I had my moment of freaking out and all is good now, thank you for being there !

Deep breath !!! :)

Omoba, you can find I-134 online - so the USC can go ahead and start working on it and getting familiarized with it. http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/i-134.htm - just be sure and check with the embassy you're going through to be sure I-134 they ask for. Most embassies do, but there are exceptions.

I thought Chris and Mariana had a whole thread about it? They were referring to a K3 interview in Venezuela, where they'd have to use I-864 instead of I-134. Maybe I'm mistaken. And I was under the impression that for K interviews, I-134 was the form required. So... I don't know.

If Mew is mistaken, I am too.

I think I read that somewhere.

Mew,

You're not mistaken that they reported getting an answer to their question that they needed I-864. (I think we're talking about the same poster, and I thought you might reference that.) But what they posted is different from what others have previously reported as their experience in Venezuela, and it's different from the information posted on the consulate in Venezuela's web site (not always a sure thing, but often better than what a clerk answering phones or e-mail knows).

So it will be interesting to learn what they report back after the interview - especially if they challenge what they were told ahead of time, submit I-134, and are told 'no, give us I-864'.

Then I'll be happy to stop asking the question.
