I know most of my limitations when it comes to forgiveness, and I can forgive but I can't forget. My thinking is that even if I take the guy back and work out things that I'll never really forget what he did.So for me it's very simple -- since I can't forget, it's better to move on. I think I'm very clear about this issue from the start of a relationship, "Hey, you feel like cheating .. well, just LEAVE me and go ahead, without the need to cheat.I think most people feel this way.I couldn't live my life with someone that every time he was not with me I would feel he maybe will cheat me.That would be a terrible life to live.Marriage is based on TRUST..........

I can not refer to him the way you are because I don't know both sides of the stories.

Who knows maybe depression, homesickness, or boredom is making him to behave the way he is behaving according to her.

:reading: Forgiveness is an art not many possess.

Who cares. Homesickness and boredom don't justify telling another woman you love her and sending her naked pictures of yourself and basically admitting to immigration fraud. Forgivness is fine, but that doesn't mean you continue to let the person take advantage of you. If he is so bored and homesick, there is an easy solution. He can go home.

FWIW, he has a pattern of posting on this types of topics, always positing that reconciliation is possible, when there's clear evidence of immigration fraud, instead.

You answered politely. You got a good point. But I like to hear both sides of the story.

I think that betrayed woman has a greater self-esteem than those losers that actually settled down with pieces of ###### like that in similar situations...so when you're bored, homesick or depressed you go and cheat with another woman even if virtually? you're for real?..unbelievable

Her post says her husband had his biometrics and is waiting on his EAD and AOS. Also says that HE is talking to a woman from HIS country and telling her he has to wait out his residency process.

Yes she is the american, she is also asking how to remove her support of the AOS and cancel the AOS!

I was thinking the same thing! What about the part where she needs help in canceling the AOS!? Some people are so insensitive to what others needs, that they crowd the situation with their own thoughts. Just answer the womans question and pray for her to have a speedy recooperation from this, if that is what SHE decides!

This is a bit of info that may help:

As many other have said, write in to USCIS to cancel the AOS. U.S.C.I.S. clarified in regulations in June 2006 that the support obligation does not arise until the beneficiary adjusts status to permanent residence. Prior to that time, the I-864 can be withdrawn.

May God lead you and guide you thru this situtation.

And to the person who said we sure do get angry easily over here... How would you feel if you were used for a green card? I feel compassion for her. How heart-breaking to think you have found the love of your life just to find he had alternate plans the entire time. It is people like him that make this process such a difficult process for the rest of us who have legitimate intentions.

I second that  It is an unfortunate circumstance Betrayed woman has found herself in. Many of us are feeling compassion and empathy towards her situation because it could've and can happen to either one of us. Our prayers are with you Betrayed woman. Trust in the Lord, that all will be right again.

I think you should wait before doing anything. A cool down period is the best in this cases. Believe me, I have been through hell with a divorce I didn't even want in the first place. I know you feel betrayed but obviously you love this man otherwise you wouldn't have married him. If in a month you still want to withdraw the AOS it's your decision but be aware of all the consequences for him.

Wait and cool down? Are you mental? :bonk:

Did you not read the OP: HE HAS ANOTHER WOMAN HE LOVES WAITING FOR HIM, HE JUST MARRIED THE OP FOR A GREENCARD!!!

There is really nothing to wait, cool down for, or sleep on. This is pretty cut and dry if you ask me. I'm a USC (man) and if my wife had a guy in her country she was writing to about loving him and sending naked pics. SEE YA!!!!

AFTER TRANSLATING ADDITONAL EMAIL IT HAS BEEN DISCOVERED THAT HE WAS PLANNING TO WORK, SAVE MONEY AND FLY BACK AND HE WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT MEETING HER AND THE CHILD IN THE AIRPORT. NOT TO MENTION HE HAS ANOTHER CHILD A LOT OLDER I KNEW ABOUT AND WAS SENDING MONEY TO THE CHILDS MOTHER WHILE HIS PAPERS WERE PENDING. THERE IS ALSO AN EMAIL WHERE HE CALLED ME DEROGATORY NAMES AND SAID HOW I ALSMOST CAUGHT HIM ONLINE TALKING TO HER BECAUSE I CAME HOME EARLY FROM WORK, BUT HOW HE IS SMART AND DELETES ALL THE EVIDENCE. I ALSO FOUND VIDEOS HE MADE OF MY HOUSE, DOG, AND NEIGHBORHOOD, ALL WHILE TELLING HER HOW MUCH HE LOVES HER AND BLOWING KISSES. HE IS LYING, HE HAS BEEN, AND HE WILL NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO LIE TO ME AGAIN.

I guess he isn't that smart. I hope he enjoys his flight back home.

I think that if you made a bit of time to study JR's posts these past few months, you'd understand that most of what he says is nonsensical - do please disregard what he says, something amiss (IMO).

I was reading this thread and I thought to myself, I wonder when jrmejia is going to make a ridiculous post about forgiving this guy. And then sure enough, jrmejia made that post. It's like aritual to him even when the person is surely scamming the other. I think he just posts for attention and hijack's the thread. But also I believe he may do this because he himself has a Scammer who he has said many things about here on VJ. By making these types of posts to forgive, somehow justifies the way he forgives his own Scammer. Anyone who has been on VisaJourney for awhile knows his patterns.
