Hi There!!

I have some doubts about the EAD process… I applied the I765 with my AOS in Aug.05th, and I did get my 1st NOA for both of them on Aug.17th. Until now I didn’t receive the appointment letter for my biometrics, but I did receive a RFE for my AOS, all arrived at my current address…

Now checking my status on line I got the message that a written notice for my EAD was sent to me but returned to them, I don’t know why… my doubt is what could be this written notice? Could be the appointment letter for biometrics?

Anyway I will call them… just curious to hear some opinions… I was researching here and I couldn’t find any case where there is a RFE for the first EAD

Thank you for reading…

You need to have your name on your mailbox or some mail will not be delivered... there is no point phoning the info line they cant do anything but tell you to call back in 30 days....

Make an infopass appointment and your local office will be able to get the letter re-sent...

I agree with Kezzie, make an INFORPASS app, and see what went wrong.

I agree 110% with what Kezzie has said  , get your name on your mailbox, inform the post office you live at your current location and ignore the 800 line :hehe: . Make an infopass appointment and explain to the immigration officer what has happened, all round it’s quicker & easier.. at least it was for me.

Something similar happened to me not too long ago where the USPS returned my EAD as undeliverable to USCIS the only thing that got it sorted was an infopass appointment. I got my name on the mailbox and told the local post office I live at my current address.

Good Luck! :D

Thank you!!

I got a infopass for next week, but I am just curious about something... when you have some written notice or NOA returned to USCIS the local office can provide you a copy again? In my case my 2nd NOA for my K1 visa was returned to them... what they are requisting now for my AOS (RFE)... I am wondering if I can get this returned 2nd NOA during my infopass too... has someone had some similar situation?

take care

Simone
