Oath Letter

Its been 5 months since my passed test/interview and i still haven't received the oath letter in the mail. I thought by law INS has 120 days to respond, please help.

Have you tried making an appointment to find out what the hold-up is? I assume they said you passed when you had your interview or was there a decision pending?

yes the IO said i passed the test. No i havent made an appt, but i did contact the Senator's office today, i checked my status online and it says "decision post activity, on 06/11/2011 a supervisor has review your case is complete. We will mail you a letter with the final decision. It's been another 12 days and still nothing.

It would seem to me that the wait has really only been 12 days since the supervisor approved your case....I'm sure you'll get a letter soon.

Thats the thing Diamond, i dont know if i have been approved or denied. When i checked online, it only said that the supervisor had completed reviewing my case. But it didnt specify if i got approved or not. So does that mean i will get a letter with the "approval or denial" first? Before i get the Oath letter, because i thought once you passed the test, ur automatically approved. Thanks in advance
